White River Flowage Lake Management District

The Flowage:

  The White River Flowage is a 133-acre impoundment of the White River located in the Town of Dakota, Waushara County, Wisconsin. It has a maximum depth of 20 feet and a mean depth of 6 feet.
  The White River Flowage Lake Management District was created in 2005 in order to maintain and protect the Flowage. Presently, the primary activities of the District concern the treatment of invasive weeds (Eurasian Water Milfoil, Curly Leaf Pondweed, and Flowering Rush) and maintaining navigation channels.
